How Health Sharing Works
Members contribute a monthly share amount to the community. When a member experiences an eligible medical expense, those costs may be shared among other members according to the program’s guidelines.
Most programs allow members to choose a Primary Responsibility Amount (PRA), which functions similarly to a deductible. Once that amount is met, eligible expenses may be shared by the community.
